A day when the man who inspired so much with regards to equality and freedom here in the States, and who’s life was taken by those who feared change, is remembered.  And in remembering him, there is hope sparked that things can change - injustices can be righted, [...]

I read the news and my heart just sinks.  The fear here locally about the economy and jobs is dwarfed by the Palestinian/Israeli situation.  The stories, the pain, the images, the anger and hate - the humanity of each person is lost and the innocent are caught and pay the heaviest price.  Lord have mercy.

So, it’s day one of the year 2009.  And the first day of my new website format…it’ll probably change a bit over the next wee while as Matt also upgraded Wordpress too and there’s new stuff to play with!
